[ damon doesn't post often to the open network, not seeing a reason to put all of his business out there in the open, but when there's a purpose for it there's no reason to hold back, right? besides discussions with stefan got him thinking about his lack of investment here on this murder ship. it's not entirely unusual for him to have an interest in this sort of thing, being on the founders council and all that good stuff back at home in mystic falls. good-doing and greater-good-defending are things he can pull off pretty well, thank you very much.
not that it has anything to do with a certain brother and doppelganger showing up. ]
So let's say theoretically someone's interested in doing their part in the neighborhood watch. Security duty all official-like. How would they go about that?

[ damon locks the next part of his message, not particularly interested in anyone else getting involved with him and his if he can help it. this has been an issue since stefan arrived, and though damon would just love to live in the world where his little bro wasn't the worst at this ever he doesn't have a lot of options. 140 years and he's finally accepting thatkinda, sorta, not really.

Got a request. I hear you're equipped the brim with sciency things that can probably get me out of a predicament. My brother has some specific dietary needs. He can't be on the people blood—the real deal, synthetic, it's all bad news. Do you think we could get something a little more...gamey? Squirrel flavored perhaps? Tiny bunny rabbit? Anything...animal.
...Earth animal, mind you.
