[...That's weird.
[A week ago, Murphy was almost positive that he had misplaced his communicator. It's what got him into the pre-jump mess in the first place. After all, had he taken it with him before venturing into his personal bird-marked paths of the ship, he might not have contacted someone sooner. He couldn't have been in that mess in the first place.
[Now that Murphy's had some respite and sustenance, imagine to his surprise that he discovers a lonely communicator with his name (number) on it. Discarded nearby his own room, no less. Very weird.
[In any case, Murphy takes the liberty to skim through some of what he's missed (and ignores the eight unread messages that he dreads looking at). That's what he sees Anne's post, and the replies.
[He sighs. He's still having difficulty sorting out what happened in his head. Not just the fact that someone had been deliberately toying with him out there, but then there's Anne. And Alex. And so many other things to take into account, which he's not entirely ready to confront.
[Finding a seat in his room, he simply types out:]

If anybody's wondering what happened before the jump, I got lost.
Thought I had my communicator on me, but I guess I forgot it.
Won't happen again.
Sorry if I wasted your time.

:33 < *if something wasnt up hed purrobably apologize through a video instead of a very sparse text message*
:33 < *but the relief she f33ls at s33ing her companion alive and hopefully unharmed manages to squash her desire to shake him*

If I didn't look and feel like shit, I WOULD use video. This way is just easier.
I'm fine. I'll live in the long haul.
