I'm aware there are greater things to consider than the whims of a king, but I would ask your indulgence in this instance. Things have gone quiet, for the moment, so perhaps this is the best time to pose such a question.

I would hear what was known of skinwalkers and shapechangers, if there are those aboard who would be comforable speaking of such subjects with me. Anything you wish to speak of, even legend and lore. I'd be grateful for it, good people of the Tranquility.

Skinwalker I guess can have a few different meanings. Technically, I'm walking around in skin that isn't mine.

We also use shapeshifter more commonly than changer.

Legend and lore holds more tales of shapechanging than I'm sure could be conversed about quite so simply. Perhaps if you could be a little more specific in your interest on the matter. It might narrow it down.

Huh. Sounds like a real Cinderella story. So where you're from that's what they are, but where I'm from they can be men, or women, who slice skin off of someone else, stitch it into a suit and then wear that.

Though, we call them serial killers or psychopaths. [It's not pretty, but it is accurate.]

Then there are demons that have no physical form of their own, so they possess another person, using their body as their own meatsuit.
