[ Bet everyone on the network has missed this pretty face, right? He's not in his room this time, however. In fact, he's kind of roaming around the halls. So, the video is a little shaky. ]

You know, there's something about all this I really don't get. So much attachment can't be good for anyone on this boat. It's the same whenever there's a jump, and most of the time, we're not all that lucky anyway. Half the people we know leave and some we don't replace 'em.

I dunno why I think it's ever gonna be different. Maybe I'm just that optimistic. [ Yeah, he's kind of lost another friend. Even if he's gained one from before, it doesn't seem to keep him from going down a path he really shouldn't be going down. A shake of his head, and he's frowning. ] And another thing—

Dying happens. It's that whole natural process whatever that comes with the being mortal thing. The best you can hope for is ending up somewhere better than here. [ Bells sounds frustrated now, the sigh he gives distracting him from what else he'd been about to say. ] This is boring as fuck. I'm getting tired of waiting and the same stuff always happening.

Who's exactly doing who a favor around here anyway? Can't be a decent guard if there's shit protecting us. Now that's something to think about, huh?

[ And with a grimace, the feed abruptly ends there. Feel free to bump into him on his way to the OG. ]

[ If he's honest with himself, thinking about Mikelo had been in there somewhere too. But Bells is hardly honest with anyone, let alone himself. He rubs at his forehead. ]

Yeah?

[He hadn't really thought ahead of what to say. He chews at his bottom lip, briefly glancing away.]

Want any company?

[It's about all he can think of, even if it's more for himself.]

[ Did he want company? Maybe he should accept considering he tended to hurt things when he was this upset. Bells gives a jerky nod. ]

Sure. I can come find you if you want. Where are you?

[ Because he felt so incredibly restless and needed to move. ]

[Mikelo nods.]

[ He gets there a lot faster than he means to, waiting a few seconds before knocking and hoping Mikelo has left the door open. ]

Hey. It's, uh. It's me.

[He's up and answering the door after hearing the confirmation (with all that's been happening, who knows what could come knocking?)

With a wave in greetings, Mikelo makes a sweeping motion with his hand- Bells can make himself at home, if he pleases. As for himself, Mikelo goes back to sitting on the bed, legs crossed.]

[ Bells takes a second to look around before stepping in. He's sort of a mess, jumpsuit knotted up around his waist and that same jacket as before thrown on to cover the rest of him. He walks over toward Mikelo, debating the bed before helping himself to a spot on the floor. ]

This sucks.

[Mikelo shifts a bit to grab his messenger bag, poking around some to locate his white-board and a pen.]

Did someone leave?

[ He tilts his head enough to read what he's written. ]

Someone always leaves. You should know that by now.

[a slight nod. Yeah, he probably should know better. Yet he doesn't, entirely. He was only here for a very brief time, before. Not nearly enough to get a good reading on this place.]

Guess you're right.

[. . . ]

It's so crazy now.

Yeah, I guess. [ A pause, regarding him a little longer than before. He's not that insensitive. ] You scared or something?

[Yeah. . . that particular question leaves a knot in Mikelo's throat. It's true, though. He's been going back and forth between feeling terrified, and somewhat-okay. At least he's not stupid enough to let his curiosity win. He gives a bit of a shrug.]

I'm not used to all these things. Monsters and spaceships, actual danger. . .

Doesn't seem like a lot of 'em are either. I think it's okay if you're scared. [ A pause. ] But don't go wandering off and doing dumb shit. Or you'll end up like all the rest.

[He scoffs, a silent smirk with a shake of his head. The slightest, however wry grin at the edge of his lips]

I'm curious, admittedly, but not stupid.

[A bit of a frown, then.]

Wish I had somewhere to skate, tho.

[ He gives a nod, leaning back against the bed suddenly. Like he doesn't want to bother with sitting up straight anymore. ]

Skate? You mean those things you showed me last time, right? Just do it in the hallway.

[He nods.]

Yeah, I was thinking that.

[A bit of a pause. He watches Bells for a few moments.]

What do you like to do?

I never really thought about it. [ A blank stare. ] Sex?

[He just blinks, not exactly impressed. Wow, Bells.]

Sex is your hobby?

Not a hobby. I just like it a lot. [ He sighs. ] I don't really have any, unless you count getting high.

But I can't do that anymore.

[He presses his lips together momentarily, giving a nod. (Okay, then.)]

Is there anything you like to do on the ship?

[ Don't judge him, Mikelo. He can't help it. ]

I go to the garden thing sometimes. Uh. [ A pause to think. ] And I hang out with Lor when he's not doing stuff. Do you do anything that's fun besides skate?

[Okay, okay. He won't.

That name sounds familiar, though. A tip of his head.]

Your friend from home? He's here?

I've been thinking about checking that garden place out, but yeah. I love music and dancing.

Oh yeah. I guess that's something else you sort of missed while you were gone, huh? He showed up a little while ago. [ He scratches his head. ] And what kinda dancing? I did some recently, but I don't think it was all that great.

Cool. I'd like to meet him some time.

[The idea of Bells dancing is a little amusing to think about, bringing a grin to his face.]

I like all types, but my favorite is what's called 'modern', or 'contemporary ballet.' There's a lot of emotion in it. I really enjoy getting into the music! ♥

Sure. [ He doesn't know why he's grinning, but Bells grins back too. ] I've never heard of 'em. You might have to show me some time.
