[When the video clicks on, it shows Bennett sitting in her room and fidgeting a bit. She wanted to say something, she's just having issues articulating it all. Her lips part like she's about to start speaking a few times before she actually does.]

Ah, hi. I mean, hello. Yes. My name is Bennett Halverson and I'm...new. To this whole, as Dr. Brink put it, pandimensional kidnapping spaceship thing.

So I have a question concerning recent events that have been mentioned or--or broadcasted here on this network.

[She pauses and bites her lip, then her hand sort of wanders up to her mouth and she chews on her thumbnail for a second before she realizes she's doing it and that other people probably don't want to watch that.]

Is this normal? For, well. The monsters. Other...people dying. Does this happen frequently? Because that's a problem in a finite area such as a ship. Which I'm sure the majority of you are probably aware of already and don't need me to point out but. I, I'd like to help. Somehow. I'm a, a scientist. Medical doctor, technically, but my fields of study...weren't limited. I'm familiar with a wide variety of subjects so I'd like to put my knowledge to use. In some way.

Well, I wouldn't say that we're friends. No, not really. But we're from the same world and he's a scientist I admire.

[He told John you were his girlfriend, Bennet. He's not spoiling that fun surprise, though]

You look exactly like my sister.

I'm very familiar with his work but no. I don't know him. We've met now but I don't extensively know him as a person, not yet.

Then no one knows him as a person. That implies he has a soul or a heart. At the very least, a conscious.

We're from the same world and I've extensively studied his scientific achievements but we're not really friends. I don't think meeting someone once qualifies them to be considered a-a friend. He's an acquaintance, I suppose.

He explained some of it but it was my first day and I admit I was probably slightly delirious at the time. I tripped and hit my head so that on top of the feeling nauseous I...probably started to tune him out after a while.

I'm new down here too, but if you know your way around healing people, med bay's the best place for you. Not to write off myself or my colleagues, but we're running desperately low on actual doctors.

That sounds...nice. I suppose. Though I admit meeting someone who looks exactly like me might be a bit unsettling.

Are you insinuating that Dr. Brink is not a person? Because that's a, it isn't a good thing to imply. Do you know him?

I specialized in neurology but I should, I should be okay with everything else. I typically stick to more of the...research and development types of things as well but if that's where I could be the biggest help, that'd be for the best.

I mean, you can go ahead and ask anyone, you'll get...mostly the same answer. People die every so often, usually because they wander off. We've had two in as many days, which I...will admit is a bit worse than usual.

He looked like he'd seen a ghost when I met him. I'm not sure if that was thrill or not.

Nothing like this before seems to be the typical answer which is...slightly calming, at least.
