What is there to do?
I will not waste time with what is the point, what was the purpose of bringing us here, I don't expect there to be a satisfying answer to that.
But what is there to do productively?
I appreciate the vast amounts of materials with which to keep myself entertained but...

I am also searching for a good pair of knitting needles, both as a means of passing the time, and as a weapon should the need arise.
As for diet, the ship appears to restock nearly everything the average crew could require for nourishment. There are only a few exceptions.

None of us having resided long enough on this ship to detect any sort of pattern to its actions or objectives, that's an unanswerable question.
If worst comes to worst, you have an ample supply of sanguine sustenance available and in claustrophobic corridors. I'm sure you can find a source somehow.
