Due to recent infractions, the flight crew thought a statement of conduct for shuttle bay access was necessary. The ground rules are as follows. » No alcohol or drug use is permitted in the shuttle bay. » No groups of more than two without crew invitation, and all visitors must have crew supervision. » No disturbing working crew members. » Do not touch or disturb the tools, shuttles, etc. » No firearms or open flames permitted in shuttle bay. If you want entry into the shuttle bay please contact one of the flight crew. There is guaranteed to be at least two of us in there at all times available to supervise. Questions can be directed to any member of the flight crew.

[Amused] If that's trying to say any parties, rollerskating clubs, or orgies in the shuttle bay have to invite one or more of us, I'm all for it. And I'm not advocating drunken welding or playing bumper cars with the shuttles.

But given the other people I know on flight crew [...Which would be...Kara. Basically.] I'm kinda wondering if and how this was put to a vote.

These rules aren't anything anyone should have had to state in the first place. But instead, we've had things like kids trying to come down to ride someone's dog. It's a work space and there's not much of a reason for anyone to be in there most of the time unless they're working. If they're not, then the flight crew needs to know who they are and what they're doing. Supplies went missing when the ship was in lockdown. Personally? I'd rather not have that happen again.

It's not common when most of the people on the ship have never seen a spaceship, much less lived on one until now.

It was a very large dog. Luckily her owner came to get her before either the dog or the kids could cause any damage.

From us, torn space suits and a broken repair bike. Engineering was missing several supplies as well -- electronics and handheld tools.

Seeing as I'm not technically on flight crew, I wouldn't know about any voting, but I also haven't heard of any parties, and I'm down there about every other day.

We'd always play games in Serenity's cargo bay back home, though. Fun ones.
