If you can vouch for his relative sanity, then I s'pose it wouldn't hurt to have him along. Four's a good group size for a thing like this anyway.

I'll vouch for him. I'll keep an eye on him, too, and bring my hound -- if I have to chase him down because he decided to go fucking nuts, Howly'll stay with you. He's pretty badass so it's not a bad deal.

First time I went, we started near the medbay. Everyone knew where it was and we could grab some supplies in case one of us got hurt.
