[Celes is still a bit confused by everything, especially by the fact that they're in space. Where Celes is from, space travel had never even been thought of.]

This place seems nice and all, but I'd like to know which rooms contain any danger and/or creatures of a dangerous nature.

[Oh, how she hates to ask for help, but, well... it can't be helped! At least she's not asking how she got here or where she is, anyway. She figures she can found out those answers on her own and save herself the embarrassment.]

If so, I would like directions to those areas.

[Is she crazy? Perhaps, but she really just wants to see if there are any creatures from her world on here. Even if it's a monster, just knowing that something from her world is here would give her some comfort... And maybe she wants to take out her frustration on something.]

I would say that the whole ship is rather dangerous.

Really? Including all of the current residents?

[She didn't doubt that some people were hostile, but she found it hard to believe that everyone was dangerous. She might be taking this guy's words a little too seriously, though.]

I find that rather hard to believe.

One can never trust anyone completely.

There used to be things in the science department area, but... the place has been cleared out for awhile.

Only "creatures" we've got are the ones that belong to people -- or the bugs in the gardens. None of 'em are dangerous, though.

The science department, huh...

[She reminisces about the Magitek Facility and the science department in the Emperial army, which always conducted rather gruesome experiments.

That's a relief, then. The less monsters on this ship, the better.

I honestly can't say for sure that there are. There's a lot of uncovered ground on this ship -- places that we can't get access too. When we had access to the science department, there were these... things that came out.

Not quite. Rather, I'd like to eliminate the trouble to make this place safer.

If all the dangers this ship has to offer could be solved by hitting them, I wouldn't have a problem with the idea. [ speaking for himself and the people he can call friends on board, he knows they all have the spirit and courage, and even the varied skills to back that. if it could be done, they would have done it already. ] What was behind a door last week might not be the same in two.

[ and the other thing. the terrible, gut-wrenching truth: monsters can look like people (or not) and a person can still be irrevocably evil. most of their issues come from the crew they're surrounded by. ]

Besides, to live as a coward is sickening. I would much rather die making things better than to hide in a corner, crying with fear.

cause if you did youd know the only time there were actual monsters on board was back when everyone was turning blue and bleeding out of their asses and were generally too busy dying to be classified as cowards

protip: sometimes violence is not the answer
but hey if you still think you can swoop in and save the day against space sicknesses and changing corridors and engines that can paint the walls with your insides if youre not in a pod before take off ill remember your number for whatever happens next
and see what going into the mouth of the beast does for us then

Suppose these animals you seek are unique -- their kind exists nowhere outside this ship, and by slaying them, you ensure this magnificent creature will never be seen again. Will you be responsible for their end, all for the sake of a few grown men sleeping softly in their beds?

And when a larger danger comes, and these others are fat with sloth, never having fought for their lives, what do you think will happen then?

Not a fight, per se. At least, I'm not in it completely for the aspect of 'beating something up'.

I'm not really interested in dangerous persons... But that's good to know. I'll keep my eyes on them, that's for sure.
