[Michelle, wearing a green, black and white dress with a matching cap, is standing outside the library (it didn't take her long to discover that the ship has one), her device in one hand. She peers at it, and gives her audience a small smile. However, though her eyes are sincere, there is a touch of concern in them, an almost motherly touch. Or rather, a sisterly touch.]

Hello. My name is Michelle Cheung, and I'm one of the new arrivals. I'd like to ask if any of you have seen a very tall [At this, she raises her free hand up over her her head, palm down, to indicate height] woman with short black hair. Her name is Maggie, and she is quiet. I expected to find her in the library, but she wasn't there. Also, have you seen a short [Her hand moves down to somewhere between her chest and her waist.] pink-haired girl? She's Anita, and she doesn't like books.

Both of them are my sisters. [Her smile slips slightly into a more worried look.] I haven't seen them since I woke up here. Maggie, Anita, if you see this, meet me near the library, okay?

[A pause. The smile returns; it is a more knowing smile but no less sincere.]

By the way, it's very rude to abduct someone while she's in the middle of an important rescue mission.

We were supposed to rescue a friend. My sisters and I were her bodyguards, but we're going to rescue her as her friends.

[ He's cute? Cid blinks, a little surprised by this fact and that someone's actually saying it to him. But he focuses on his curiousity on the other part of the sentence, not the former. ]

You got fired?

Our...well, boss...put it this way: our job as her bodyguards was over.

He was quite wrong, though.

If your job as a bodyguard was over why did you have to go get her again?

Because she's our friend now. We can't leave her behind.

Besides, we voted on it, and it was unanimous.

I think this ship cares little about rudeness. It has taken me from the middle of a war, and others from equally pressing business.

[Her eyes widen but she doesn't take a step back or drop her device or anything.] A war?

Aye, a war. But I'm told it waits for me, so my captivity here is bearable.

Even if my mission will...well, wait, I can't just leave my sisters.

They will have to wait for you, I fear, unless they are brought here as well.

So will our friend. The one we were supposed to rescue.

I've not seen any pink-haired girls. Were you expecting your sisters, or are you merely checking to be sure they aren't in the same fix we are?

I was with them before I was brought here. Why would I be separated from them all of a sudden?

Why would you be here all of a sudden? Answer the one question and you might answer the other. Obviously, you're not conjoined physically with them.

Has it not occurred to you they may not be here at all?

We've always been together. Always. [She doesn't sound desperate or clingy; she's just stressing a point.

Because she's not kidding. They were inseparable, even for sisters.]

That ... must have been nice. I'm sorry you've been separated. [He's being sincere. A little wistful, even, for a moment, though that moment is fleeting indeed.] But if you care for them, perhaps you'll be glad not to have them here, once you get to know the place a bit better.

[Michelle leans against the wall, glancing upward for a moment, and then looking to her sides as if seeing why she should be gladder to not have her sisters with her.]

...What do you mean?

[They were in space, right? In a ship that looked strong enough to hold and sustain them all. And they could get through anything together. Besides, if two heads were better than one, think of the perks of having three!]

No luck finding them, then?

No.

[A sigh, as she tucks a strand of blond hair behind one ear with her free hand.]

Me either. [He's trying to be optimistic though.] Haven't given up hope yet, though. She always finds me, one way or another. I imagine your sisters are much the same way.

They are. But we can help each other look for your wife and my sisters, too. [Four eyes were loads better than two.]

[thatsaflaregun]

Aye. That we can, sistah. In the meantime, I suppose we better get comfortable, much as I hate to say it. We may be here for a bit.

I suppose...at least we have rooms and just about everything we'll need for a space trip.
