[ The video shows Toshiko sitting at her station in Comms, looking tired and not directly addressing the camera. ]

Apologies up front for the unpleasant subject matter of this transmission, but it's necessary. Ariadne, Abby Maitland, and I are working on what will eventually become a sort of physical memorial to those we've lost from our community here on the Tranquility. In order to do this, though, I have to ask for help from all of you.

We need to know the names of the people who are gone. Not only those who died while here, but those who have disappeared on the ship, and those who disappeared during the jump. You can assist by adding to our list.

I'm glad it doesn't seem too morbid a thing to be doing. Might take a while to get it up, though. Unfortunately the ship doesn't seem to want to be very cooperative with giving us the free time we need lately.

Givin' a name and a number hardly calls for a lot of free time.

I wasn't really referring to the list so much as the memorial itself. We're only in the design stage on that.

[He pauses.] If you need any help with it, lemme know, alright? I fixed up the chapel for this kinda stuff, so, uh... time's somethin' I got a lot of.

That would be brilliant, once we're at the point where we're ready to construct something. The more hands we have, the quicker we'll get done. I promise to message you when we get there.

[ for the most part ariadne has been laying somewhat low since the jump. but she did catch sight of what happened with tosh lately and she can't help but be concerned about her.

so here she is, looking slightly tired and obviously worried, quietly asking: ]

[ yes, her question has nothing do to with the wall, but she sort of figures they can always discuss that later - tosh's well-being will always come first to that. ]

I've had better months. I'll get through it. [ Her smile is sad but it's genuine. She appreciates the friendly support. ]

We should probably meet soon, and discuss design ideas. Looks like there's quite a list.

[ she just nodded slightly in understanding to that, returning tosh’s smile with one her own. she can understand that - she's dealt with a lot herself and she keeps on trucking - but knowing others are here for you always has meant the world to her, so she will keep on being here for tosh. ]

Yeah, we could maybe set something up soon - see what Abby has available. [ a beat and her brow furrows slightly, sadly adding: ] And yeah, I noticed that...it's sad all the names - yet I really hope they aren't all missing or worse and just back home.

That's a good idea. Maybe we can get some solid ideas down, and give you something to work with for drawing up a plan. I have some thoughts on making the display programmable, for ease of upkeep.

[ She nods fervently. ] It seems especially like the ones who just disappear during the jump cycle must be going back home. And no reason not to consider that the ones getting lost might be doing the same.

Programmable display...[ she just nods in approval, a faint smile tugging at the corner of her mouth as she thinks about it. ] I like that idea.

[ a beat and she is adding with a small sigh. ] Let's hope that that's the case - them all going home. Though have you noticed all the people that have been showing up again since going missing - most not having much of a clue they were here?

Thanks. [ Tosh smiles at the approval, glad that they seem to be operating along the same wavelength. ] Seemed like it would be easier to update, and it isn't as though we exactly have a large supply of granite and stonemasons around here.

[ The smiles fades into something more solemn, sadder. ] Maybe we're all just on the outside of Time here, and whatever happens, we'll eventually be put back where we belong. Back into our slot in the timeline, like we never left. And maybe that's why people come back and don't remember being here before. Because it just a little blip in their lives, like a dream. Just fades away after a while and you forget you ever experienced it.

[ it's slightly sad that it needs to constantly be updated, but the idea is still a good one, and can only have ariadne's approval in full - not that tosh needed it though.

the rest of her statement does have ariadne frowning slightly in agreement, obviously saddened about the idea of it all.]

That…or maybe we are all just in Limbo and we don't realize it. [ it's a scary thought - especially for her - and the idea has been creeping up the more and more she has been here (and the more she has been wearing her mask - but she wont tell anyone that), so she can't rule it out anymore – even if she was so sure she was in reality before all of this happened lately. ] …and we just keep getting tossed back into this dream where we really don't know what is reality and what is a lie anymore.

[ it's a vague statement, she knows that, but coming from her, it honestly makes more sense than she would perhaps lead people to believe. ]

[Zaeed's been going through the list of names--not that he expects to find anything, because what the hell, spaceship in the middle of nowhere.

And then he does.]

These two names. Kasumi Goto and Jane Shepard. You knew them?

[It's a coincidence. It has to be. It doesn't make any goddamn sense otherwise.]

No, I didn't, I'm sorry. But if you like, I'll put out a call and try to find people who did.

[He gives the list another once-over. The quarian's name is on there, too, and that's a little more unusual than "Jane Shepard." None of it sits right with him.]
