You may forget but let me say this to you; someone will remember us, even in another time.
[ that is actually all that you're getting today, Tranquility. Someone is perhaps pensive. You may find her in one of the lounges, playing idly with her mask, black feathered and formidably beautiful. ]
[ She's wandering, trying to cool off before she ends up heading down to medical to smother Neal with his own pillow. Typically she doesn't pay that much attention to whoever she passes, but the feathers catch her eye and Jaye pauses before approaching, hands in the pockets of her leather jacket. ]
Whether it can be considered a compliment might depend on how one will be remembered. Sappho is remembered for her lovely songs, but most of us are known for our actions, and historians are apt to put words in the mouths of their subjects. I suppose it is a question of whether one leaves sufficient record of one's life, so that one's own voice may speak clearly to distant posterity.
I am not one to forget, Jon Snow. I would recall those who left an impression upon me and while there were not many in Rome, there were many here. I do not think that I would forget this Tranquility, even in another time.
I do, dear Brienne. If all this fades into but a dream then I shall remember it as a dream. But you, you will be remembered, indeed. Even in another time, another world. I do believe so.
[ she isn't sure what she likes better, 'my lady' or her name so she voices no complaint and doesn't insist on the latter as she would usually do. ]
It was written many years ago by a woman of my realm. One might call her a prophet for she is indeed remembered in my own time and in that of others as some have recognized the verse.
action;
Do you know what kind of feathers those are?
[ They're pretty, is all. ]
action;
[ she turns it in her hands, evidently fascinated with the thing. ]
They are handsome, are they not? I received it from the ship. It is a bit too simple for a masquerade but pretty nonetheless.
action;
[ Jaye laughs a little. ]
Nicer than the one I got, anyway -- it was kind of cool on the outside but inside it had spikes.

A pretty sentiment, my lady.

A comforting fate, I think.
