[Francis intends on making this short and sweet, because time is of the essence if this is anything like any other emergency situation he's ever been in]

[ Azari doesn't bother responding on the network, instead opting to make it to Francis at top speed. Which is pretty darn quick, all things considered. The dimness doesn't really throw him off at all, though he's not really fond of the red lights.

Just sort of reminds him of the last time they were in the dome, just before James set off those robots and Ultron came.

He's got his blanket and pillow bundled up and he tucks it out of the way near the entrance to the Gardens, intending to grab it after he and Francis do what they can to help out. ]

[goddamnit Azari what has he told you before about showing up unannounced he about had a heart attack. Francis whirls around, reaching for his bow, then gives Azari a dark look before leaning against a wall for some semblance of dignity]

[ Azari... sort of smirks. His heart isn't in it, but it's there, and clearly the eyebrow he quirks is telling Francis that if he doesn't want to be startled, he should start listening more closely. Duh. ]

That's more than I can do. I need you to go with me, push through the ship and look for stragglers. If people aren't in their rooms, they should be here.

Sure. You think people might be hurt? [ In the absence of James, Azari's more than happy to let Francis take the lead, even if he's not the older one anymore. Regardless of the past couple years, Francis was in the world his whole life, getting hands-on experience dealing with, y'know. Bad stuff. That's experience none of the other Avengers (their Avengers, anyway) has. ]

It's a possibility I'm not equipped to handle if I come across it myself. Better to be prepared than get yourself killed, right? [not that he thinks he would, not here, but that's a lesson he's carried with him his whole life]

Right. [ It's a good lesson, one the other kids had to learn fast. One Azari feels like they forgot with Kang, and... well, look what happened. ]

Are we working with the adults on this, or is it just us?

[Francis still can't ... accept the Kang thing. he can't accept he's a killer - that any of them are killers - and he tries to ignore it as much as he can before the uncertainty of it all drives him nuts]
