I think maybe we need to set up an exchange. Of things we need. As long as we're here, and we're stuck? Is there already something like this? Because I know I need chalk, and a new E string for a violin.

I can trade for it. I can give up half a cake of rosin, if you can break it, and a pair of skinny jeans (size four). Or notebook paper, if you really want it.

Also, does anyone know...do the hallways move? Where do the people who don't come back from Jump go? Or the people who vanish between? I've seen some people come back, but I guess no one knows how that works.

Yes. Usually with an E string, though. I've been getting by without it but it's not the same.

I'm sure there are other people on board who play instruments.

It must be nice to have it here, at least.

Sherlock plays the violin. Or one of them did. I don't know what happened to his violin, though.

h + n = t or t = ( e + c ) + ( r + s + p )

I have an E string, and would be capable of making the necessary adjustments to play without it. I would not require payment, although perhaps - if you would care to - I would be inclined to accept company.

The shuttle bay, I have discovered, has some of the best acoustics on the ship.

I would love company, and I would be really grateful for the E string.
