No sooner do I finish one interstellar voyage than I find myself the unwitting participant of a second one.
I hope, for all our sakes, that its ending is not quite as explosive as my first.
I have my misgivings about this ship, but sudden and catastrophic destruction is not one of them.
That would be too easy.

To the part-time residents of the two universes I've intimately familiarized myself with, hello again.
To everyone else, greetings. My name is Rose Lalonde.
I look forward to the new acquaintanceships, brotherhoods, and nemeses of the coming days here. I get the feeling that we're going to need them.
I have no intention of blindly submitting to the whims of whomever is in charge here. I shall proudly wear citrus as my hue of choice when it suits me. Noir doesn't feel especially appropriate given recent events.

Exactly how much have you been told? Your descendant and some of his friends, including myself, are currently in the midst of creating a new universe. It's very complicated. You've given us no easy task.

[sermonize]

You forget that the one that I arrived with is a young sea dweller. I know what he has done to some of his friends in a vague sense. The feeling that I got was something went wrong. I was not aware that the young trolls would also cross paths with humans attempting to achieve the same ends.

[godseer]

You take me for less than the Seer that I am. There has been some time since wherein more individuals with more chronologically advanced knowledge have taken residence on the ship. But I suppose if someone had to let you know, it might as well be me.
In a sense, Eridan was one of the main reasons that things went wrong, though he was by no means the only one. We were also to blame, as were other trolls, Dersite agents, and outside forces. Meeting was the only way for either of our sessions to move forward.
You should know that they created us, but were never able to enter our universe, and it has now been destroyed. We're trying again through a new method: the Scratch that I mentioned earlier. But that gets into a far more complicated process.

My apologies, then. I did not realize that I was inadvertently insulting your person or belittling it.

This is more than what I bargained for, I will admit.

Don't worry about it, I'm sure any offense was unintentional.

If you were to play the game, you'd find yourself unraveling similarly complicated circumstances, and you'd make sense of it somehow. Everyone does, more or less.
Of course, that would never happen, seeing as the game wasn't around in your time.
The point is that at least three of the more dangerous aspects of our game have made their way onto this ship. I don't foresee this ending well.

I suppose that the second aspect would be Jack, correct?

[godseer]

If one were inclined to assign definitively ranked enumerations to the varied and asundry SBurb threats here, sure. Jack is the second individual to occupy my attention.
I would assume his broken connection to the Green Sun is what renders him less dangerous here. Is that correct?

[sermonize]

I am not sure what this Green Sun business is, but what I can say is that Jack has a bit of a complex. The only aggression here that he has shown is in his speech. I suspect, from a previous conversation that I had with him, is that he is not from where he should be. He had been brought here from another place entirely. While being there, he had developed some rather protective instincts towards several individuals that he now believes that he has failed.

Then my best guess is that he's been hopping universes at least twice as often as us.

[sermonize]

If that is the case, is he even truly an issue as of now?

[godseer]

Perhaps less so. But as the saying goes, snouted Derse agents don't change their fur color.

[sermonize]

I would like to believe otherwise.

[godseer]

I'm sure you would, but some of us must remain more practical. People going crazy in an enclosed space isn't an unanticipated event.

[sermonize]

Fear not, I realize when my words cannot reach someone. Practicality is not lost on this troll.

[godseer]

Then be ready to defend yourself it it becomes necessary.

Only if it becomes necessary.

Possibly before, if you don't wish to be caught off guard.

It is the last resort. Anything more than that and it belittles the message that I bring.
