oo2-[video]-accidental(ish)
[The feed shows darkness. A shadow shifts about and there are vague outlines that many might recognize as the interior of a passenger dorm room. The angle is a bit awkward, suggesting that the communicator was tossed down somewhere. Loki, who has yet to completely master these devices, has accidentally turned on the video instead of audio.]
It has already been reported that my other self is among us no longer. 'Tis so, I cannot feel his presence.
[The moving shadow pauses and clasps his hands thoughtfully, then wanders out of view.]
His was a truly troubled spirit and I can but hope that he has found some manner of peace now.
...I must confess to some envy. I would not mind ridding myself of this place and vanishing as he did. One would think that, for a man who has lived for centuries, a months or even years-long voyage would be as nothing.
[The shadow wanders back into view, placing a horned headdress over his brow.]
The truth is I would give nigh anything to return whence I came. I wonder how many others feel the same way. Do you consider this vessel your new fate? Having been stolen by it, will you now remain upon it until it reaches its unknown destination? Or do you intend to find a way home?
[The shadow turns its head and seems to look directly at the camera, though the view remains tilted and awkward. A pair of green eyes start to glow in the darkness.]
And to those of you intent on staying, where do you suppose this celestial ark is taking us?
