It seems there are many from my world to be welcomed aboard after this past jump. If those of Westeros inclined to make their presence known, I would speak with all of you.

[ there's a pause. a direwolf's low whine can be heard, and robb exhales slowly. ]

And I'm sure it is already known, but the lady who called herself Aberdeen is no longer aboard.

[ and feed is cut. ]

[Lord Stannis, Stannis Baratheon. The War of Five Kings is coming to the Tranquility, and that very thought fills the pit of Bran's stomach with dread that he cannot name--not to Robb, anyway.]

And Grey Wind and Ghost, too. [It isn't a question, or even a suggestion.] When will you go?

[northerner]

Of course, if it eases your mind.

[ when? well, that's an uncertain thing. there's much to be discussed before a meeting is brokered ]

As soon as we can, unless events on the ship interfere.

[wolfdreamer]

[He nods, though there is little that could ease his mind now. It is worry that moves his hand to scratch at Summer's ears; it is worry that makes him begin to think.]

I will send Summer, too. Tell me when you will go and I will see that he follows.

[northerner]

Bran, you musn't part with your wolf as well. It would ease my mind to know that you have him with you, to keep you safe from harm.

[wolfdreamer]

I could stay with Alayne. Lady could keep us both safe until Summer would return. [A beat, and he adds:] If Summer went with you, then I would not have to go.

[northerner]

Would you wish to come?

[ an honest question. bran is young, but he became lord of winterfell in robb's absence. his desires here matter. ]

[wolfdreamer]

[There's a slight pause.]

You would let me?

[northerner]

Yes. If you wished it.

[wolfdreamer]

If you would have me, I would go.

[Bran was meant to be a knight, perhaps, and then a lord and bannerman, and then a prince--and then none of those things. But the excitement that he tastes at this chance is more excitement at being of a help to Robb.]

[northerner]

You are my brother, Bran. I would always have you at my side.

[ for robb still thinks of the days after the war, when bran shall sit upon robb's small council and manage his affairs. ]
