It seems there are many from my world to be welcomed aboard after this past jump. If those of Westeros inclined to make their presence known, I would speak with all of you.

My world went through something called the age of enlightenment. People wrote about democracy, a concept that came from the Greeks thousands of years before us.
Representative governments and all that other shit. But some countries were raised on the backs of peasants who were loyal to kings and queens. To make it work, they limited their powers, but still kept them as figureheads.
I would explain it further, but reading about it might be better.
