[ He adjusts the screen, takes a few steps back and grins against the camera. expression playful, but tone entirely serious. he's in a gray t-shirt and a hoodie, with a scarf and slippers. ]

Huh⎯ So, okay. Inter ship feed, I can work with this. Alright. For the record, I don't think I've ever had an audience this large before. Bear with me.

So, Tranquility. I'm Doctor Charlie Holloway and I guess, this makes me your new crew member. Now, I get that everyone's got their story to tell and I'd genuinely love to hear it. I'd wanna know who I'm workin' with especially when the scope is both inter-galactic, between time periods and cross-species if what I've gathered is correct.

Now - I get it, new dude, no reason to trust me. I'd be weary. But remember that - none of us enlisted on this mission, so might as well save the antagonism for - what was it? Frowny?

So quid, pro quo - Now, introductions - well, credentials more so.

It just so happens that I've had past experiences with Interstellar Travel before, I don't know if that's useful to anyone. So before this, I was a crew member of the USSCC Prometheus - which was an expedition, sponsored by Peter Weyland - set out to explore the moon LV-223. [ it's a call out to see if anyone from their world is there. ] If anyone here's familiar with the concept of Engineers. I'd love to hear your thoughts. [ curious to see if his research went anywhere too. ]

[ a beat. ]

Also can anyone give me a down low on the regenerative properties of the stasis fluid? I'm sure this is asked, at least, once a month.

So, right.

Topping this off, questionable circumstances or not. I don't like the idea of being dead weight. So if anyone needs a hand anywhere, don't hesitate to contact me. I'm zero-zero-eight ninety one. [ Which, when you think about is pretty damn reckless, considering that's his room number and like - there are murders. ]

[ ENCRYPTED 50% | FILTERED TO DAVID 8 ]
So enjoying life on board, David? [ Just a little cheeky. ]

[ Just casually flagging him down. He knows you're here once he actually got back to reading Elli's post. ]

[David gives Dr. Holloway the same smile he always has, as though nothing has changed. That in and of itself is the problem. Nothing has changed. Whatever events transpired on LV-233 had potentially been undone.

Granted, the mission had been far from successful, but David liked where he had ended up when all was said and done. He would be the only one who felt no need to reset the excursion and begin anew.]

Dr. Holloway, what a pleasant surprise. It's a relief to see you on your feet again, and looking so healthy.

[David's smile shifts slightly, which causes it to become less sincere, but also more natural, as it actually has a sliver of "life" behind it for a moment. Not much, admittedly, as there will always be a disconnect between his mind and his physical self. He sends the musculature of his face commands to arrange themselves into the appropriate expression. There's nothing instinctive about the sharp look he's giving Holloway. Instead, it's deliberate.]

Yes, it's something that I'm grateful for. I cannot imagine the discomfort you must have been in.

[David hadn't necessarily intended for Holloway to die. He gained little by seeking out this man's suffering. And yet, he supposed he had done so regardless, and in doing so was arguably responsible for his death. But more than anything, it was inconvenient that it hadn't stuck. Holloway is nearly as tenacious as Elizabeth.]

Although you seem to be in a better state, I'm afraid it's necessary that I ask you report to the medical staff onboard. If a contagion is still in your system, you could be a continued threat to the people onboard this vessel. [He pauses, and continues apologetically. (His sincerity is arguable.)] And forgive me for having to say this, but you should refrain from intimate contact with Dr. Shaw, or anyone else for that matter.

[The sound of a groan and what may be a head hitting a desk.]

You know what, I'm in no--fuck it. What are you a doctor of? And don't fuck with David. There. Shorter speech.

Fuck me, exactly what--and of course we know what an engineer is. I'm an engineer.

[...maybe she wants to make friends.]

No, actually, because that's between David and you. [Icy.] But it's a wicked awful filter. I just know your ship. And he's apparently better at friends than you, so.

Well, if you find 'em let me know so I can punch them in the face. Why don't you go look for them in the ship.

[Libby do not encourage such things.]

I didn't look. I just checked the filter. [Because David's privacy, she has feelings.]

And--wow. [She snorts.] You're a sweetheart, huh? Hey, leave the computer to the computer engineers, that's a pro tip.

Regenerative properties? That's the first I've heard of it, and I've been here since the start. I don't think it heals people. I think it just gets everywhere.

Well, okay, but I mean--I mean we've only just met.

Not that--not that you can't, ah. "Square some stuff" with me. You can, if you like.

Regenerative properties?

Why don't you slice off your hand and find out? For science.

You asked about regenerative properties? What better way to test but human trials?
