But more importantly, plague has a bit of the same affect as war in bringing out the most interesting aspects of humanity. He wants to see that in action in this ship, they're all isolated here and who knows how long it'll be till those who escape sickness, and perhaps even death, lose it? It's what prompts his text, slow with patience as he sits in the kitchen and plucks blurring letters.]
