[Hello. And again, welcome to the Aperture Science--
Oh wait. That's not right.
Ever since her arrival last week, she's has kept low, isolating herself in her room, listening and learning from everyone's feeds and adapting to being human. Breathing and walking and sleeping and bodily fluids--
She knew humans were a filthy, disgusting race, but she hadn't fully realized how much until last week.
And oh, how she hates it.
And that just so happens to be her topic for this particular feed. Say hello to white hair, yellow eyes and a smirk. Say hello to GLaDOS.]
So. If what you idiots say is correct, we're stranded in space, have no answers and someone's just died a tragic death. And that's terrible.
But that's not what I'm concerned about.
I have a question.
A more ...personal question.
I've noticed that there are people on this ship who are not human. So my question to you is this: Why was I turned into a human upon my arrival here, especially when there are non humans aboard? Because it is not a sentiment that I appreciate. Far from it. In fact, if you were trying to please me, this is the worst thing you could have done.
Well. Aside from murdering me.
[She doesn't know you're here Chell, but that was definitely aimed towards you. She crosses her arms, leaning back. Her gaze is still fiercely focused on the camera, as though her burning gaze may just make the viewer burst into flames.]
So. If you humans are as smart as you claim to be [Doubtful] explain to me how I was torn from my chassis, into this human body and how I can reverse it.

[You sound more than a bit, well asshole-ish. He knows one because he is one.]
voice;
[She is kind of asshole-ish. But at least she's proud of it.]
Because it might be in everyone's best interests to return me.
[She is also kind of homicidal?]
voice;
[...so that's why he gets a strange vibe of 'crazy' off of her.]
voice;
Because. I may not have have access to neurotoxin [Yet] but I can still murder everyone here.

ARE YOU SICK OF THIS VOICE YET]
Yeah, how's that working out for you? Enjoying the fluids?
[audio]
You coward.
She was sick of his voice the moment he started talking. In Aperture.
Also no. She's not enjoying the fluids. They're disgusting. But she deals with it. The same way she dealt with being a potato. But she's not going to let him know it's bothering her.]
At least being human is better than being a potato.
But you wouldn't know about that.
Would you?
[perma-voice]
[The secret is there are no secrets]
[always audio]
[Yeah, GLaDOS does not believe you for a second. Even if you were to offer advise, she would not take it. She's not as stupid as to take advice from an intelligence dampening sphere.]

It has its advantages and disadvantages, I must say.
[Text]
And what advantages would those be?
Text
I rather enjoy being able to move, feel, and create. It's a shame this ship provides such limited opportunities to do so.

Welcome to being human. I, myself, used to be a tall ship. I'm afraid there's no way to know how we came to become humans, or how to reverse it. I think it's the default shape when your original shape doesn't fit the couches or is too far from human.

I'd expect it could be due to any number of reasons. Being able to properly fit into your tank, which was suggested already, a random unfortunate turn of luck... it could be you're expected to do something on the ship that would require a more human form. These sorts of things probably depend on whatever's responsible for pulling passengers aboard.
Afraid I'm newly arrived myself, so I have no suggestions on how to get back the body you're in usually. I know it can be a difficult adjustment to make.

I merely do not wish to be in this form any longer than I need to be.

im still trying to figure out how they did it to me
Text
Oh? And what were you before you arrived here?
[She adds another tally on her list of Not Human Humans.]
