[ Being used to space travel made this situation no less unusual to adapt to - it was certainly different when you were unaware of your location, your friends and crewmates were missing and you had no access to the computers, or much helpful information ]

The predicament that we have found ourselves in is greater than anything that I am aware of from history, even with noted examples. From what I have been informed the majority of the passengers aboard this ship are unfamiliar with space travel, or are even from an era where it has yet to exist?

[ Oh, this was breaking so many rules. But... this wasn't her situation, but simply another thing to try and help and resolve as easily as possible like with Doctor Cochrane. The similarities were, frankly, astounding ]

I believe that we all are, for the time being. It's knowing how to work in your surrounding that makes the difference.

What difference? People adjust on their own.

Not everyone can adjust as easily. Giving help like that is what I do.

Why?

I'm a counsellor, it's what I'm trained to do. In any situation how you may react and be able to cope someone else may not be able to do, helping them helps them to be able to cope, and guides them through it with more ease.

Maybe they're too weak, if they need so much help.

Needing help doesn't make you weak - being able to ask for help is a sign of strength.

It's a sign one can be taken advantage of.

Unfortunately that can always be a possibility, in any form of help, and even without asking for it.
