Castiel?
[ There's a pause. John's never met this man, but he's heard him on the network, and heard about him. They call the man an angel. The name, admittedly, suits. John isn't someone who was necessarily devout, nor was he entirely sure of what people told him of demons (he'd been lost in the ship for that fiasco)... But this wasn't about him. ]
Castiel. My name is John Watson - I'm one of the doctors in the medbay. Do you have a moment?

What is it?

[ John is quite invisibly pinching the bridge of his nose at the moment. It's not the first time he's given a 'Name has died' explanation, but it doesn't make it much easier, especially considering the mysterious circumstances revolving around it. It's the first confirmed passenger death the Tanquility has had within the past seven months. ]
His body is being brought to the medical bay, and the medical staff is going to examine it due to the nature of the death. However, once we're finished, if it isn't too much trouble...
I didn't know if you might be able to say something for him?

[They may not have talked much, but that doesn't mean he's indifferent about the loss of a life. With such a small number of people on the ship, even a single death will affect far too many other people to go ignored. That, and he's fairly sure that Dean counted Hotspur among his friends.]
If those closest to him agree to it, I'd be willing to help as needed.
