I’m looking for people to teach me basic self defense. I took a few courses back in college, but that was some time ago and to be frank – I’m pretty rusty. I was given several names to contact about this – though I’m afraid a few I’m not acquainted with. [She’s been slacking on the nosiness. Oh well.]

Payton had called her "Janet" (called... well, everything Janet), and while 'Jayne' isn't as close, it's close enough. ] No-- Jaye. Like a blue jay, sort of, just... with an 'e' at the end.

[ Okay Jaye calm down. ] Could be worse. The jumpsuit's getting old, though.

[ She is not sure what is with strangers on this ship and handing out compliments, but this is possibly the first one she's said "thanks" to. Mostly because it's about her name and not really her. ]

There were self-defence lessons a while ago; I went there. I think you should go to someone in the Fight Club about it. They're the most likely to teach you or lead you to a good teacher.
