[ Although she's not as bad as she's been the past few days, Wichita still looks pretty beat up and worn out. The fear gas kept her running most of the time, which meant crashing into things and falling down with the disorientation that came with it. She may or may not be hoping for some pathos points here, but it's an effortless attempt for it. She really does feel like shit. ]

I'm not even going to get into the what the hell was that factor of the past few days, but instead there's just one thing I've been wanting to ask, and haven't had a very good reason to until now:

Am I fond of dealing with zombies? Hell no. I do know a guy that's pretty obsessed with killing them in creative ways, so. I guess it's not that unheard of.

My world is almost entirely dead because of zombies, though, yeah. Legitimate threat is... pretty accurate.

I'm sorry to hear that. [He really is, too; apocalypses are never something people can just deal with.] There are a few people like that in my world, who enjoy killing zombies for sport, but it's not common since... well. Zombies aren't common. For good reason.

Do you know what caused it?

Guess I'm just glad he channels that killing instinct at zombies. [ HEH............ ]

Virus. They're not actually zombies in the traditional sense, they're just, uh. Sick enough to act like them.

Nah, it's all very real. [ ... ] Unless magic is real, where you're from. Still not 100% sure of all the different types of people we have here, so.

And yeah, that's a plus. I'd say the worst of it was over by the time I showed up here, but you never know.

From what I've learned, time seems to stand still when you leave your world, or otherwise you return to the exact moment you were taken, so at the very least you know it hasn't gotten any worse.

What like, straight up Harry Potter style? Did you go to Hogwarts and get sorted into Slytherdor and everything?

Wish there was a way to prove that. I'd feel a lot better about the people I left behind if I knew they were just frozen or whatever.

No, can't say I did. It's not like in the books, magic. Well, unless you're reading Gordon's work, but he probably wasn't in your world. Which he would be incredibly offended by.

It's one of those things that we have to take on faith. I think imagining them to be stuck in time is the only thing keeping me sane.
