[ it's that anger, that unbridled anger that reminds him of himself. he remembers distantly how he was ready to tear damon to pieces when he realized it was damon who had changed isobel. that it was his fault he didn't have a wife any more. and then the tears remind him of just hearing that jenna was dead. the reminders of his feelings (as if he needed one when they feel so at the surface with this gas) is what finally prompts him to flip his feed over to video.

his face doesn't look pretty and anyone can tell it's taking him so much effort to not scream in frustration. he rubs his hands over his eyes before he speaks. ]
