voice;

If anyone currently in the oxygen gardens could look around for Simon Silverton, designation zero zero two, zero twenty-nine, Caucasian male, teenaged, brown hair, and report back to me with a status, that would be appreciated. [The tone is clipped, military, and leaves no room for nonsense.]

Private to Simon; I'm coming up to get you. If this is a prank to get me out of my room, you're in deep shit.

Deployment of a chemical agent sounds like an attack. [ It's a repetition, but the inflection is purposeful. ] But fear toxin on a usual basis will rack the infected with so much paranoia that they'll eventually- [ He trails off a moment, trying to word it delicately. ] Heart attacks are most common. Like how rabbits can get scared to death.

I know I don't sound like I'm on much authority, but I know who's behind this. His name's Crane. Code name Scarecrow. You've probably seen him around on the ship, saying he's a psychiatrist. I guess it's half true. What we need to do is get these people to safety. As many as we can. They're all breathing in this stuff, and as long as they are, they're going to be scared out of their minds, and when people panic, things turn hostile. The gas might not kill them, but that's not to say they won't start at each other. But it'll work its way out of their system eventually.

What's your name?

I'm unaware of Scarecrow's location. -Er, Crane. Sorry. But so far as I can tell, the canisters have been disabled. It's the cure that's going to be the problem, but it's not mine. We have scientist on board, and hopefully one will be lucid enough to synthesize something workable.

The gas is thinning out - the ship is just too big for Crane to have made enough canisters to cover the entire thing, but the Oxygen Garden is the focal point. If we can move the people furthest away from the Garden as possible, we can stop the influx of Fear Gas into their systems. It's not a solution, but it at least buys time.
unfiltrating: (look at that. it's rachael.)

[ Oh. Right, Robin, not everybody has a handy dandy filtration system like you do. ]

Guessing you don't have a gas mask? Look, I have a couple rebreathers in my belt, they're- [ He doesn't know what kind of tech this guy's used before, or what he'd even recognized. ] It's sorta like an oxygen supply. You know, like scuba diving, but more compact. It'll give you a few hours of air, but then it's gotta recharge before you can jump back in the game again. You could borrow one?
