[After a lot of thought she's decided against video, because she still doesn't like talking and wants to get her point across without messing it up]

My name is Chell. I'm one of the few people left that worked in Agriculture on the ship.

Looking for people to help in the new gardens. You don't need to know anything about farming or growing food, just have to be willing to listen to instructions and help out.

If you do have experience, that would be great.

If you have any questions leave them here or come looking for the woman in the orange jumpsuit.

Question. Three, actually. No. On second thought, I should likely make this a bit of an ongoing affair and not limit myself to a number.

What sort of food are we talking about here?

Answers:

1. Vegetables, some herbs and grains. The seeds were unlabeled so we had to go on my memory.

2. That depends on whether you can get the teeth off the cabbage again and whether or not the cabbage is still edible after this.

3. We will take all the help we can get. Some time is better then nothing.

I'd be interested in helping! My parents had a farm, so I have some experience.

I'll need that. The plant life here is different from what I'm used to back home, needless to say.

I'm hoping we'll be able to figure out more of the local plant life in the future.

We have seeds we've scavenged from the ship that we've been tending to as well.

Fantastic. I've made some cursory logs of the plant life in the area, but haven't experimented myself with starting a garden. The crash took that out of me for a while, I'm afraid.

I think it took a lot out of all of us. Half of us still seem to be in tents. I know I've been putting stuff off.

We can move forward from here though.

I would like to help. And if there are expeditions into the jungle to find new things to eat I would like to do that too.

Once we get a group set up and the gardens running, expeditions sound like a good idea.

My family had a number of farmer tenants at our estate. I spent much of my childhood surrounded by farmlands. I am at least somewhat familiar with what it requires.

[ This isn't to say she's offering to take up plowing or hoeing.]

I might be of assistance dealing with pests, of which there appear to be many. I have some stipulations, but I imagine we can come to some kind of agreement.

Where will we put the gardens?

Right now they're on raised beds a bit off from the medical area.

I've been hoping our living arrangements would be a bit more settled by now but we can always move the beds if we end up building a proper town at some point.

Is there a way set up to water the gardens yet? When it does not rain I mean. Carrying water back and forth does not seem efficient.
