"Suppose... somebody's eyes weren't the way they used to be.
"There some kinda... I dunno. Way to fix that?"
[Murphy sounds kind of ragged. Frustrated. He's not really one to openly admit that he's having problems, let alone make a public broadcast about it. But even after getting over his sickness, he can't trust himself to operate the machinery he does and be productive when he still can't see where he's even going half of the damned time. And if he can't do that, then what good is he going to be to anyone?]

[William waves at the lens. With his white coat and rather cool, sterile-looking backdrop, there can be little doubt what department he owes his allegiance to, even if you missed his 5000 WORD ORAL PRESENTATION on the network the other day.] We could examine you in Medical Bay. Between magic and medicine, there's likely something we can do.

Good... Yeah, good. I'll stop by sometime, if you're not busy... [If he wasn't so goddamned used to this place he'd probably need an escort to make sure he didn't read the signs wrong.]
no subject
[Damn, he's been here too long. The offer doesn't even phase him.]
voice;
[He doesn't mean that in a mean way, Heather.]
Besides, whoever said anything about glasses? I mean, this is a spaceship. They should have somethin' better than that here.
voice;
[Says the girl with the robot leg. Shhh.]

( strive to, because you can't always, that's. just how it is. )
voice;
Are you hurt? Is there anything I can do?

Have you ever asked Anne how she feels about glasses?

I see you've already met the highly capable Dr. Gallo.
voice;
No, no, I'm... I'm fine. Just been seein' doubles these last few jumps and it's gettin' a little hard to do my work.
voice;
I can imagine. Do you ever get used to them-- the jumps? They seem so... violent.
voice;
I wish I could say they do, but in my experience... I dunno, sometimes it seems like it just keeps gettin' worse... In more ways than one.

Yeah.
So, er, do I need to schedule an appointment, or... something?
no subject
[Wait.]
Y'know what? On second thought, yeah. That'd probably be easier, in case the hallways decide to bug out and change like they do.
And... uh, yeah. I have. Sort of. I mean, we've spoken.

[ Matter-of-fact. She doesn't seem scared and, quite contrarily, huffs in annoyance. ]
Really. What an invasion of my basic rights. Though... they were all gone once I did escape.
voice;
[It's strange. She sounds way more well adjusted about being locked away. Solitary confinement messed him up pretty bad. He's only just been getting used to being around people again. Not that Murphy was ever much of a social butterfly to begin with.]
voice;
voice;
[He'd ask, but he's not one to get invasive when broaching a subject that someone is so obviously not that keen to talk about, especially with someone they don't know that well. So he leaves it be, for now.
[...
[And now he feels incredibly awkward.]
voice;
But it doesn't matter right now, not when I've gotten away and they can't find me. I doubt they'd ever think--or be able--to look here.
voice;
[God knows he's probably got a warrant for his arrest in his world, being an escaped convict and all.
He's not even from the ending where Anne fakes his death, rude.]voice;
