[When Emma had suggested making friends might help get her back to Henry, Regina had scoffed. But magic hasn't helped her, and she's running out of ideas.

Which is why she's currently sitting primly in the kitchen and with exactly as friendly a smile as she can muster up. It's more or less effective.]

I made some lasagna. There's a lot of it. I'd be willing to share, if anyone's hungry.

[People like food. Give them food and they'll like you, right?

Maybe she should have baked cookies or a pie instead.]

Pardon me, lady, but I know not what lasagna is. Might you enlighten me?

[ Jason perks up a small bit from his recent round of brooding over possible children from the future. Ahem. ]

Lasagna sounds good. Should I bring something?

That seems to be everyone's idea lately.

[ Okay Regina's the second person Maria's seen posting about food but... shifty. What is it lately ]

[...she was not prepared for this.] It's a pasta dish. With cheese and sauce and meat. Very tasty.

...it's not necessary. But I suppose wine would be appropriate.

[Regina raises an eyebrow.] What, do people not eat in your world?

[Eponine was not going to turn down free food. That, and 'lasagna' sounded strange and wonderful and it had been slowly occurring to her that she needed to meet more people on this ship. So, here she was, peeking around the door frame.]

I should like some lasagna. Though I do not know what it is.

Pasta? [ but cheese and sauce and meat sound delicious! ]

[Speaking through a bit of laughter:]

Food. I hear someone's giving away food.

[ As close as they've gotten in Storybrooke, Robin hasn't yet tried any of her cooking. Of course, they've been busy dealing with the threat of Zelena, and stealing kisses in between, so it's difficult to truly relax enough to enjoy a quiet dinner together.

Perhaps they can amend that now, though he's not sure how she'll receive his company. Boldness has served him well with her in the past, so rather than responding to her broadcast, Robin simply makes his way to the kitchen, keeping a distance between them, but smiling slightly nonetheless. ]

Does that offer extend to me?

...you have my leave. That's the whole point of offering to share.

[Regina offers her a tight smile.] It's good. A pasta dish. Here. [She gestures at the table, which holds a glass pan filled with lasagna and some plates.] Let me serve you some, Miss...?

[Texting. Regina's been in the modern world long enough that she knows how, but she can't help but feel a little silly as she does it.]

Yes, there's plenty.

...what? Did you make lasagna as well?

[She inhales.] It smells delicious, madame. Thank you.

[She moves further into the kitchen.] Jondrette. [It's what most people knew her as here.] But you may call me Eponine.

You heard correctly. [Regina gives him a tight smile.] I baked more lasagna than I can eat by myself, so I thought I'd share.

[She tenses at the sound of his voice, not turning around to see him. She knows all too well what she'll see. Robin Hood. That thief that was far too handsome for his own good and had a lion tattoo. Her true love.

She inhales, trying to calm herself, before turning around with a smile.]

It was an open invitation. Of course you may have some.

I don't usually have enough left over to offer it to a ship full of people.

[ Or any leftovers. Cooking for one ]

Is this a common tactic in Storybrooke, then? Honing one's culinary skills in the face of a crisis?

[ Not that there's much of an immediate crisis at hand, being stranded in space aside. And while there has been a lot of free food on the network lately, that's not actually what Hook's interested in— more the fact that the Evil Queen's putting on a friendly face.

For his part, his acting's about half as good as hers. There's just a hint of mockery in his tone, and the smile he offers is too blatantly amused to be an honest one. ]

I was being polite. You pardon, I knew not that manners have been forgotten in the passage of the centuries.

[ but she'll be game enough to go and give it a try. ]

[Shaking her head:] I offered everyone pancakes.

[ Assured that she won't suddenly snap at him, Robin crosses the threshold and steps closer to her, cutting himself a piece. ]

This is quite generous of you, and I'm eager to try it, as you haven't yet regaled me with your culinary prowess in Storybrooke.

[ He can imagine it's a bit uncomfortable to be reminded of a rapport they share in Storybrooke, one she has no memory of presently. ]

Have you been faring well here so far?

[Emma did the ABSOLUTE WORST job filling her in on who's here, so she looks surprised to see him. But just for a moment until her face settles into cool indifference. Whatever, Hook. Whatever.]
