I might, [ she retorts, even if it's true; she hardly had as much to drink as he did, and she's armed, now. Still, it is nice not to walk alone.

(God, but she misses having a team. Even when it was just her and Shaun, at least there was someone there. It was annoying, sometimes -- coordinating the bathroom sharing, especially -- but it was like having a family.) ]
