[It seems ridiculous that she'd want to have something be on video when she looks the way she does, but so it goes. As it stands, you're greeted at an unusually early hour by a woman with mussed hair all wrapped up in her blanket with red eyes and a frown. She speaks shakily, obviously a bit bothered by whatever is going on.

And oddly enough, it has nothing to do with the strange occurrences going on on the ship. No, it's a more mundane thing.]

I shouldn't have the capacity for that, but... I think I had a dream. Not a good one. I woke up like this and my pillow was wet and my chest hurt and I'm completely disturbed right now.

This isn't supposed to happen. A moment used to feel like an eternity to me, but now I sleep and everything goes by so quickly. This time it was terrible. I feel terrible.

[She's all alone, and she hates being alone. She's used to a million people needing her every day.

Dreams are just the brain's way of dealing with the thought soup you're too busy to process when you're awake. There's no real off switch, except to sorta... resolve whatever's eating you.

[She smiles a little bit, because she trusts this guy and likes him.]

It has already happened. It's come and gone.

Yeah, but that's the thing with dreams. They come back.

They will? The same ones?

[NOPE NOPE NOPE ABOUT TO CRY AGAIN.]

No no! Not the same ones... Well, maybe sometimes. But it's usually different ones. One night you might dream about nice things. Like bunnies. Or rainbows.

[rubblegoddess]

Bunnies.

[Honestly... that might be lovely. The word sounds foreign coming from her, like she had to consider it for a moment, but it makes her almost smile.]

I could deal with bunnies. As long as they aren't killer attack bunnies.

Try thinking of happy things when you go to sleep. Just don't... let your brain wander to killer attack bunnies, 'cause that has definitely happened to me. But that was after too much beer and a Terminator movie marathon.

I've never had a beer and I don't know what Terminator is. Assuming it's a film about things being terminated, I can't imagine it's any good.

But, no, I always think of happy things. The happiest.

It's about- [ABORT ABORT ABORT] It's a terrible movie. One you never wanna watch. Ever. Period.

[He waves his hands.] See? There you go. Just keep up the happy thoughts and maybe the bad thoughts'll give up the ghost.
