[ October got back from her definitely unintentional escapade into the depths of the ship a couple days ago, but she's been lying low since then. She hasn't even bothered checking in with her friends, but that was mostly for fear of them asking questions she doesn't really feel like answering. But right now, October's got her own questions: ]

I know there are plenty of people here who have gotten things in their lockers after their original jump here and I had a few questions for you. 1) How many people has this happened to? 2) What did you get? If you feel like sharing. No hard feelings if you don't. 3) Do you have any idea/possible theories about why you got what you did? Or got something in general?

Just curious. I haven't gotten shit since my first jump and was wondering if there was any sort of pattern/reason for other people getting stuff. I doubt it, considering where we are, but anything's possible.

What kind of drugs are we talking here? Tylenol, pot, something harder?

I've received things twice, several months apart. Mostly clothing. Food that wasn't perishable. Not particularly large amounts, but enough to share with a few people.

[And bullets, but he won't advertise that, even anonymously.]

There's a pattern if you look for it, but whether or not it seems significant depends on how you count it.

If you count the jump that brought me here as the first, it's every fourth jump. If you don't, it isn't... it's the third, then the fourth. Even if it's a pattern, don't you think we'd need to establish when it happens next, assuming it ever does, to determine the pattern? It'll be a few months before it happens again, if it is.

What do you wish you were getting?

Either whoever picks the shit we get has a really nasty sense of humor or you're one of the most sex-obsessed people up here.

I got some of my favorite outfits. Maybe the ship could sense how much I hate that ugly jumpsuit, who knows.

It's something to keep track of and definitely something worth a closer look, even if trying to keep track of time up here is one of the biggest pains in the ass ever.

A change of clothes would be nice. Coffee that doesn't taste like fucking dirt, too. Plenty of other comforts from home that I've been without for far too long now.

If that was the case, I think there'd be way more better dressed people up here.

Other than some clothes the only thing I ever got was a souvenir from a training accident. Showed up just this jump, matter of fact.

Hey, even if you were, I wouldn't blame you. Or judge you. Everybody's gotta get their rocks off, even up here on USS Deathtrap.

What in the hell is a souvenir from a training accident? Did you get your partner's bloody shirt?

Maybe so but not nearly as well dressed as I am. ;)

Is everything ok? Did you get something weird?

I've wondered if we'll stop to restock supplies at any point. I wasn't here when the ship stopped at Strela. I wonder now if it's possible without Ward or Resnik.

Not that we would want to see a repetition of Strela, or anything worse, but maybe the quality of the next batch of supplies will be better.

[Doubtful, but just feasible, if there ever is another batch.]

Nope. Got the helmet I was wearing when the grenade went off. The visor shattered and scarred up my face.

Yes, everything's fine. [ That's a lie, but in the receiving things from the ship part of life, it's true. ] I haven't gotten anything since I arrived, weird or otherwise.

It'd be nice, but that's been one stop in the entire time I've been here. I'm not really holding my breath for another anytime soon.

That and the clothes I got when I first arrived. Mostly those, though, because the jumpsuit sucks.

That's pretty fucked up. That it happened AND that you got the helmet. Maybe it's better that I haven't gotten anything.
