Oh, no, it definitely wasn't unprotected. It took Peter and I about three weeks to get through the encryptions just for that tiny little, bitty part. It was almost like they didn't trust the system to wipe the drives clean on their own, so they loaded up each drive with safeguards just in case. It was impressive. Excessive, but impressive.
