Before Chase was killed… [ which yeah, still seems to cause her to frown at the thought of ] she was able to draw a map on one of the walls.

I'm not sure if any of you have actually seen it or have talked about it. But Detective Blake was able to get me a copy of it when he was there and I've been looking at it since then.

[ a small nod in thought, her brow furrowing and she is adding with a sigh. ] I've noticed that it's not matching up to any of the other maps that we have – not even the maze.

It actually seems like it might be a partial map to something else.

[ she actually thinks there might be a room in the map, but she still isn't sure about that part and wants to be positive about it before she mentions that part. ]

So I'm wondering…[ and a flicker of hopefulness suddenly appears in her eyes. ] does anyone have any maps that they would be willing to let me look at if I haven't yet?

I really just want to compare them all to the one Chase left us, as well as the ones that I drew up a while back.

You sure you wanna be encouraging these idiots to keep running off into the ship lookin' for shit? The last guy got his arm ripped off. A kid died.

I wasn't really encouraging anyone to go out and look. If they really feel the need to do that, not much is going to stop them.

I'm pretty sure you're the only person that bothered to keep up with the maps once people started saying the hallways change or whatever. But I still have a picture of the maze map saved on my communicator, if you don't have a copy of it anymore.

How prescient do you think Chase was?

Please understand, I wouldn't typically credit the idea that she was prescient at all. However, it's not wise to completely rule out an ability here simply because it would be a sham where I come from, and some people were able to observe her more closely than I was. She seemed on more than one occasion to be trying to indicate that she had access to special knowledge.

Umm... Yeah. [ oh my god, she can't believe she is about to do this. ] Would you want to come down and help with that part?

Chase knew things others didn't. It was a gift she had.

I didn't understand it fully, but I knew enough to know she was able to see things others couldn't. So I can't rule out the idea that she knew all of this was coming.

Then do you think it's feasible that, assuming her map is for a configuration of some area of the ship, it's a configuration that doesn't exist yet?

Of course, the more reasonable explanation is that it's for a past configuration that we aren't aware of.

Given that I've been here what I assume to be a little over a year and the in that time, things have changed, disappeared and who knows what else. I think it's completely possible.

I like to think she was warning us about something.

I don't think Cameron cares which room she's watching me sleep in as long as she can watch me sleep.

I...don't know that you should necessarily attempt to ascribe meaning to what she left.

You know, for as much as I'm glad she is watching you...it's still creepy to think about.

Why not?

Because it was left in the last moments of her life, shortly after she seemed to have had a mental breakdown. Grief always makes us want to find some larger meaning in what the deceased leave behind, but that does not mean that meaning exists.

She wasn't like that, Edgeworth. I think she knew she was going to die. I think she saw all of it coming.
