[The device comes on, but the picture is shaky for a moment just a blur of darkness, red, blond. The voice that speaks sounds nearly panicked, but there was some lingering control there.]

Jesus Christ you're heavy.

[The device finally settles on Alex's face. There is blood splattered across half of it, and on a great deal of his visible clothing. He's down to just his undershirt, and from the angle of the device, the peek of another forehead and chestnut hair can be seen leaning against his arm, the rest of the unconscious person completely out of frame.

Alex, to his credit, is doing his best to keep his shit together, despite the gravity of the situation.]

I need medical personnel to my location. I'm-- [He muttered shit under his breath, his eyes going over the device for a moment.]

I'm not sure where I am. I think on level three--fuck I'm all turned around. These devices have pinging abilities, right?

[He leans his head back on the dark of the bulkhead. He's got to hope for that. The maze is complicated and he's lost track in his attempts to get out.]

Erik Lehn--Magneto has been severely injured. I've done what I can to stop the bleeding. I don't--

[Alex looks off frame and blanches slightly.]

He's missing a hand, and I don't--don't know if you can save the rest. Idiot got ambushed by something. I didn't get a good look at it.

[If Alex hadn't been a creepy stalker, and followed Erik around, he probably wouldn't even be alive.

He closes his eyes, focusing on his breathing, and Erik's head is more apparent on camera as Alex shifts him, bringing him in closer.]

Just--I would really appreciate some help here.

[Alex shakes his head, trying to focus himself.]

I got a makeshift tourniquet tight around his upper arm--the rest of it's too mangled to do much to.

You'll need to take it off to keep bloodflow to the rest of the limb, or it will die. [Except he said 'too mangled'....] Alex, can you show me what it looks like?

[Alex pans the camera down, and well--there is a lot of torn flesh, muscle, blood, and bits of bone showing, ending where a hand should have been. It's clear he got mauled.]

He passed out--but I think it's pain, not blood loss.

[Alex speaks quieter, this time.]

I thought about cauterizing the wound but...

[Alex had been worried that do more damage.]

He's alive--and he's going to stay that way.

[Passed out. Alex keeps watching his chest move up and down, making sure he stays alive.]

[But looking at that, she's not sure they'll be able to anyway. That's probably not information Alex needs right now.]

[ October's not usually one that's sensitive to blood but considering what happened back home (Phin's blood all over her, pooling all over the road, his lifeless body and how ghostly white he looked in contrast to the red) and the nightmares she's been having when she's been able to sleep for short time frames, this video makes her feel legitimately sick. Part of that, of course, might be because Alex is involved and even if he's an asshole, she is fond of him.

Since she's not medical and can't really do much to help - and also assumes medical's on their way already - she'll focus on something else. ] Are you okay?
