i understood the point, i just didn't want to assume if you were speaking from experience or just as someone trying to inform.

you don't have to hide, you know. well, this i understand if you wanted to post just as a general note and not "from" any one person, but. if someone's trying to treat you differently because of who you are, that's... there's people you can take to, so it can be stopped.
