It was! Our old friend Gandalf came with his fireworks, and they were perhaps the finest I'd ever seen.
[ he laughs ]
My cousins, Merry and Pippin--ended up setting off one of the fireworks--as they are a wizard's fireworks, when it went up into the sky it flew around the tent in the shape of a dragon!

You can imagine my Uncle's fright as he had once spoken with a dragon once before!
[ his smile fades slightly ]
It was a good night. One of the happiest I can remember in some time.
