No sooner do I finish one interstellar voyage than I find myself the unwitting participant of a second one.
I hope, for all our sakes, that its ending is not quite as explosive as my first.
I have my misgivings about this ship, but sudden and catastrophic destruction is not one of them.
That would be too easy.
To the part-time residents of the two universes I've intimately familiarized myself with, hello again.
To everyone else, greetings. My name is Rose Lalonde.
I look forward to the new acquaintanceships, brotherhoods, and nemeses of the coming days here. I get the feeling that we're going to need them.
I have no intention of blindly submitting to the whims of whomever is in charge here. I shall proudly wear citrus as my hue of choice when it suits me. Noir doesn't feel especially appropriate given recent events.

Having practiced hugging with John earlier, Jade is feeling just confident enough to inflict one on Rose. It's a little awkward and fumbled, but genuine all the same.]

Once, I think. I'm glad you're all right, too. [ The end of their session was a little nervewracking, even for Rose. ]

This place really isn't so bad, once you get used to it!
[Even though they still had a lot to accomplish back in the game, her time here was much more than what she'd spent there, and so Jade was starting to think of the ship as a sort of new home.]
So, um! I know we are each assigned our own rooms here, but I think they are big enough for two people...
[She knows they are. John and Dave are staying together, after all. What she doesn't know is the proper etiquette for this kind of thing.]
I was wondering if you would like to be roommates?

[ She's a little relieved at Jade's suggestion; sharing a room with someone she knows, even if it's only over the internet, is a more comforting thought than spending the next undisclosed period of time in a room by herself. ]
I'd be happy to be your roommate, Jade. This hoodie is the extent of my possessions, so I suppose I can say that I've already moved in? The life of a nomad is one bereft of substantial burdens.
