Knowing the strength of my kin and comrades does not mean I worry any less.

[he doesn't need the reminder to know he shouldn't be ill. that he can't. he has had fevers and headaches, often inflicted by poisons and fumes, but never truly ill. this may as well be a poison to him. had he not known better, he would believe it was.]
