[ ...oh, hi. Finally, after what feels like forever - and boy, does he really know about that one - he's managed to access the video function of the device. He's thinking about naming it, but that's neither here nor there. For the most part, he's stretched out on his bed and panning it around the room to give everyone a nice view of his, otherwise, not so great accommodations. ]

Soooo. [ Give him a sec. He's trying to sound serious. ] I've definitely lived in worse, but this is all kinds of lame. I mean, what Circle of Hell did I crawl into? Not like it's real important or anything. Just, uh, curious...

[ Then, the video centers on him. He's somehow twisted the uniform around so it doesn't seem as restricting around the arms, and his hair is a wild mess of blond and bits of red. But the important thing is that he's grinning. Possibly a little strung out. Who knows for sure? ]

I've always been pretty bad about this sort of thing, but I guess I should state my name and all that. In case someone's keeping track. Name's Beleth. Well, no. That's not too accurate now. It was Beleth a looong time ago.

Bells is fine. B, E, uh. Whatever. Just Bells, and only Bells. Good? Good.

Now that we've straightened that out, I've got two questions for anyone willing to answer 'em. Number one: if I need to find a little lost lamb, just where am I supposed to look? Annnd. [ A smirk. ] Two: what's a guy to do for fun around here? Staring at the same stuff is bound to get boring after a while, and I'm already pretty bored.

[ He ends the feed with a yawn. ]

I haven't really heard anyone call it that before. [ But sure. He'll go with it. ] What sort of power? It's just a name.

Myth tells us that speaking the name of a devil may give you power of them. A king or a queen may be but nobody when out to dine, until their name is revealed, and oh, how the public would react differently then. A name can cause fame, can cause scandal.

No, no, my fellow. Names are powerful things. Elsewise you would not be so selective as to what we would call you.

Or maybe there's a story behind not wanting a bunch of strangers calling you something that doesn't mean anything at all now. Guess I can see where you're coming from though. [ A shrug. ]

It is a lengthy tale, one not suited for public conversation. [his particular appendage, after all, came after he was christened Hook. but ever one to pass up a touch of the dramatic, his weight shifts and he leans on his right elbow, forcing the hook aloft, which he uses to stratch his beard.]

Care to share it in private? I've got some stories of my own to tell. [ He's not going to give him a demonstration, but his eyebrows raise a little at the presence of the hook. ] Fancy little thing you've got there too. Is it just for looks?

I see no harm in it. [his smile is slow and crawling, before he glances at his hook as though just seeing it for the first time.] It is as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing.

Works for me. You got any preference about where to meet up? [ He rubs the back of his neck. Not going to say anything about the hook though. ] I haven't actually been here all that long myself.

To be frank I know little about the layout of this so called... ship.

[ Because he's actually on the same floor, which saves him a lot of work. Don't be surprised when he also just happens to show up outside his room either. ]
