Turns out the one and only Camellia Senensis had already been growing in the garden; things had gone from there, and he'd managed to get a good amount of home-dried and fermented teas, fruits, and spices sealed up in jars, to be distributed to the, er... general public. A taste of home. Kind of.

Once he gets a good look at the directions, though, he decides to do this face to face - from the looks of things, this guy is probably right over his head.]

To be honest, most of what's here is on the list. But there's... well, there's blackberry, pomegranate, black cherry... [ Shrug. ] Depends on what you'd like, really. You can pick a lot in these gardens. And there's plenty dried flavors, besides.

safe as houses, i promise. well, probably shouldn't promise - let's put it this way: i've drunk loads of the stuff and haven't died yet.

Just out of curiosity, did you grow the coffee as well?

[ she has seen the dubious little granules the kitchens call "coffee", okay. she isn't particularly what one would call a connoisseur of coffee (or of... food in general), but those certainly didn't look like captain gray's "secret" private stash of arabica beans. ]
