[Bail does his best not to show just how confused he is right now. Even surrounded by strangers, he defaults to habits acquired when those around him looked to him for guidance. But he has questions. It's only natural.]

Is there a library to be found somewhere on this vast vessel? I wish to learn of the space we are travelling through. More importantly, of the people on the worlds we might come to.

[A pause while he further considers the situation]

Failing that, would anyone here be able to explain the local political and cultural climate?

Three - perhaps four years younger. [ Quinlan's troubled expression is clear; unlike his fellow Jedi, he isn't bound to withholding his emotions. ] Before I arrived on board the Tranquility the Clone Wars had been ongoing for two years, at least.

[ The defeat of the Jedi - of the Republic, of the ideas of democracy - is completely unthinkable; perhaps in time, Quinlan would look back on this conversation with the senator and regret his assumptions. But with his own mission so close to completion it makes only too much sense to hope that the second Sith Lord had been destroyed at Quinlan's own hand. ]

The ship is badly named. [ A pause. ] But its greatest weapon lies in forcing the battle ground in to your mind.
