video; step two

[Thankfully you can't see anything below bare shoulders this time, but here's Juliana, hair oddly perfect and a beatific smile on her face.]

After that... [SHUDDER.] terribly ominous happening--by the way, those of you who didn't tell me this place was horrible, shame on you--I have something much more important to discuss. It's been clear that none of you know what to do with a goddess in your midst. It's quite simple. Respect.

[She points at the viewer.] I can't watch every one of you, but I trust that you're all working hard for the good of everyone, aren't you?

[A smile, then she looks confused.] That wasn't my point. My point... My... point...

Oh, yes! My point. I'm told there are "hobos" aboard. I'd like to meet one, for comparative purposes. Assistance is appreciated. New experiences are wonderful, aren't they?

[ooc; I will be slow Friday through Sunday, but will try to intermittently tag back in the evenings.]
circumitus: ...and then i realized im still drunk. (thinking 'wow glad i'm not hungover')

Comparative purposes?

What for? Are you looking to relocate -- or, un-locate? [That's an actual phrase, right? Un-locate. Yeah.]

Understood.

There are other words for it. Homeless, vagrant, bum, nomad, vagabond, drifter, hippy. [MAYBE not that last one so much.] My father was one for a time, saying it was part of a belief he had adopted.
circumitus: Legit 2 miles, and purchased 7 half gallons. One for each of us. Intense. (we walked 2 miles)

Not necessarily so, at least from what I have seen. Those who forfeit worldly needs may have it easier than others in some ways. It isn't always caused by an unfortunate event. For some, it's a choice, and part of their way of life. Although it may also be caused by a form of mental illness, which is indeed unfortunate.
circumitus: Otherwise you'd be a dad by now. (thank god you're gay)

You "prefer" them? That is an odd way of phrasing it.
circumitus: Because you're marine grade... You rascal. (you need 400 proof or marine proof)

So? I have been told that asking questions should be encouraged.

There's nothing wrong with it -- asking questions or being homeless. If they find it rude then that's on them, unless you're taking a judgmental approach. [So says the crazy AI lady thing who's also currently hoboing it up in the Oxygen Gardens.]

No, there isn't. But what is it you are so curious about?
circumitus: ...and then i realized im still drunk. (thinking 'wow glad i'm not hungover')

Of course. You may find similarities as well.

What are "your" people like?
circumitus: even drones can fly away.... the queen is their slave... (chill out big head)

All politics are ridiculous no matter where you go, if you ask me.
circumitus: Just remembered. (i woke up in the shower this morning)

I've also seen it create more trouble than it's worth.

...

[Thoughtful pause.] Apologies. I have been told that it is a bad idea to talk about politics with strangers.

It's confusing.

["People are confusing," more like it. How do they even work.]

circumitus: What if cement was really a rainbow color they just secretly paint it grey so as not to distract drivers? (what if...)

True. Although patterns always seem to have a way of changing -- or evolving.
